Our home is brand new and a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous Long Bay beach which is beyond gorgeous to walk on and a 5 minute walk the other direction for great tracks and mountain biking. We have 3 kids who love to walk to our local town and grocery store and play at the local reserve where you can beach it or play on the flying fox or football on the grass.
Lovely new home with a security system and private gate across our driveway for added safety, especially with small kids. The house has an adult front lounge (with doors to close from the rest of the house if desired), a main lounge with a large couch and big tv and dining room and kitchen. Also a tv in the upstairs king room.
We have a brand new spa pool in the back yard and a huge trampoline for everyone to enjoy. Our home comes with 5 1/2 bathrooms and heated floors, towel racks, and even a ping pong table. Love love our new house and can’t wait to share it with others and find some fun swaps for our family as well.
There are 4 large bedrooms upstairs: one with a queen bed, one with a double, one with a bunk bed that is double on the bottom and single up to, also a single underneath the bunk bed so a great kids room for sure and the last room has a king bed!
Downstairs and next to the kitchen, with its own slider to the yard and entrance from the kitchen that can be locked if wanted, is a suite. There is a lounge with tv and couch, bedroom with king bed and private bathroom.
We are 25 minutes to Auckland and walkable to bus stations from our house. Auckland offers the city life, theaters, fabulous restaurants, Eden Park Stadium and many attractions to visit. Also in Auckland, we love catching the ferry to Waiheke Island for a night or day trip with lovely wineries, shopping, and glorious views; Waiheke is lovely to visit!
We live in a great family neighbourhood and enjoy our neighbours, so please no parties.
We have been in New Zealand for almost two years and are looking forward to traveling around a bit so we decided to list our house here so we could share our home in exchange for houses to stay in. Please keep in mind that we do have 3 kids in school so our traveling is somewhat limited but we are open to working some swaps out so we can see this beautiful country!
To make it easier on you and us, we have a cleaner that comes at the end of your stay for NZ$250.

Pets: We have two dogs ages 7 & 1. We would prefer to bring them but also just as happy to board them if necessary. One is an old English sheepdog we brought with us from the states and the other is a staff/lab mix we rescued. They are both super chill and house trained and easy to be in your house with.
