Bring the family to our beautiful historic villa in the delightful riverside village of Warkworth. Close to stunning beaches, Matakana and just 45 minutes from central Auckland. Plenty of gardens for the kids to play in, Kauri forest across the road to explore and the popular cement-works swimming hole just five minutes walk from the door.
Our home was built by Sir Edmund Hillary's grandmother back in 1908, and was situated in Mt Eden until we moved it to it's current spot overlooking the Tamahanga Ranges in 2014 and gave it a big makeover. Wooden floors throughout, brand new kitchen with marble benchtops and high ceilings make the house light, bright and super-comfortable.
Fire up the pizza oven and relax under the grape vines on the deck with a local wine, or pack up the surfboards and head out to Omaha.
We have two cats, Tiger and Kuku who are used to small dogs (but insist on being boss), and we're happy for well-behaved dogs to stay.
