Our home is wrapped in a quiet suburb in a prized location on the Manukau coastline with elevated views of the spectacular, ever-changing harbor. We're situated in Hillsborough's "dress circle" providing delightful sea views through to Puketutu Island with a Bombay Hills backdrop producing a most natural frame to this enticing tableau. All located conveniently in the central city suburbs of Auckland about 10 minutes drive to Auckland Airport.
Our contemporary home is built over two levels with the bedrooms on the lower levels with a master suite (queen bed) and two guest bedrooms (one queen bed and one single bed). There is a full bathroom downstairs and an ensuite in the master bedroom. The home offers blackout currents in all bedrooms to provide you extra long sleeping hours. There is a covered patio in the back garden if you wish to catch a little shade in the Christmas heat or relax on the lounge set.
The upper-level open concept living room, kitchen, and dining area provide great light and views out to the harbor. Bifold doors on the upper level lead out to a substantial decked outdoor living area, ideal for capturing maximum sun. The separate media den is a winning space, a great place to wrap up and watch your favorite movie or tv series complete with blackout curtains. The couch is quite comfy and large -- it could accommodate as two single beds. There is an additional half bathroom upstairs.
We live in our residence full time so it's fully furnished with all the necessary tools and equipment needed for cooking a fabulous holiday meal. We also have a gas grill and outdoor heaters on the top deck.
There are many walks nearby including Aldersgate Reserve, Granny's Bay and Waikowhai. We're only a couple minutes drive to the 20 motorway and 15 minutes to the CBD. We're 5-8 minutes drive to Onehunga, Mt. Roskill and Blockhouse Bay.
Our home is a great space for families, couples or folks visiting family nearby in Auckland who want a private retreat.
