Recently built modern two story home located in the beach-side village of Sumner. We are nestled in the head of the valley with the Port Hills on our doorstep. Our house is on a large terraced section with valley views and is designed to be near passive house in energy efficiency. It is triple glazed and super insulated with a Solar PV system and stays nice and cozy year round. Upstairs is finished with native beech floors with main family bathroom for the three kids rooms and ensuite off the master bedroom. Bunk bed in one room, double bed in other other two - one on a rather high mezzanine so not suitable for little ones, and a super king in the master.
Downstairs has kitchen, laundry, living room and TV room + office. Ground floor is pet and kid proof polished concrete floors. Nice outdoor courtyard space with pizza oven and bbq. Large garden with lots of natives and ornamnentals + veges and + fruit trees. 6 chooks in a coop at the bottom of the section for fresh eggs.
