    • Description

    Matarangi is about 30 mins from Whitianga where there is a cinema, hot pools, supermarkets, shopping, restaurants, pubs as well as charter boat trips and other outdoor activities. It is close to other lovely Coromandel beaches such as Kuaotunu, Otama and Opito Bay. Further afield (about an hour/hour and a half is Cooks Beach, Hahei, Hot Water Beach.

    We are a married couple in our 50’s with adult children. We love the South Island and activities such as skiing, cycling, hiking and road trips.

    We have a beachfront holiday home in Matarangi on the Coromandel Peninsula and are looking for a non-simultaneous house swap for winter 2022, where we can spend some time in August/September in Wanaka in return for our beach house which is available from the mid to end January – early March. We are also open to other locations around NZ for long weekends.

    We are clean and tidy and will look after your place like it’s our own. We have a small dog (wool not hair, so doesn’t shed or smell!) and prefer to bring him along on our adventures, but we can make other arrangements for him if that is not possible.

    The beach house has 3 queen bedrooms available and would suit couples or a family of 4.
