A comfortable small unit with TV and airconditioning. Walking distance (15 Mins) from the Ferry. A queen bed in one room and 2 single beds in a guest room. Lounge and kitchen, and bathroom that includes the laundry. Five minutes from the marina and 10 mins to the center of Picton. My unit is set in a group of 23 units, with views of the hills and bush.

    • Description

    Picton is where the Interinlander and Bluebridge Ferries arrive. There are a lot of lovely bush walks around Picton. The unit is set in a group of privately owned units, which are mostly owned and rented by retirees. You can hire kayaks, and bikes on the foreshore and there are a variety of boat trips out on the Queen Charlotte sounds. Easy access by boat to Queen Charlotte track. There is a friendly walking group and plenty of yoga classes.

    I am a retired female enjoying a relaxed lifestyle in beautiful Picton. I enjoy walking, yoga, reading, socialising, travel, music, festivals and meeting new people. My three children are grown up and living overseas in Australia and Canada. I have travelled a bit and lived in Kalgoorlie, Australia for 21 years. I am enjoying living back in NZ now and have sisters in the North Island and friends around the country.

    Since moving back to NZ in 2018 I am enjoying beautiful bush walks, swimming in the ocean and yoga with friends. There is a walking group in Picton and regular yoga classes. It is a very friendly and welcoming town.
