Our property is located in Waitati, which is 15 minutes drive away from Dunedin. Waitati is a lovely seaside town. Our house is a cosy, quaint house with a log burner which heats the whole house. We are situated in a quiet street and our house overlooks the estuary, which is a short walk down the road, or across the paddocks if the horses are not in there. It’s a very comfortable house with all the amenities you need for a home away from home. It is our home and we love it! Its clean, quiet, peaceful and idyllic and you are certainly surrounded by green!. However, it is quirky and quaint and is not a mansion. There are some uneven floors (due to parts of it being 100 years old) and some mismatched doors.
There is an abundance of bird life around, as the eco sanctuary is just up the road, so if you're into birds then this place will be heaven. We have two cats which will need looking after as well as 6 chickens. We are happy to welcome well behaved and cat friendly doggies here.
