We are a professional couple with two
older boys still living at home residing in a lovely 230sm home in the heart of picturesque Cambridge. The sheltered weather and medium to high temperatures throughout the year make this location a pleasant getaway for a short-stay, weekend or longer holiday break. The town boasts some of the best restaurants and wine bars in the Waikato along with a wide selection of boutique shops and cafes, many choices of lake walks and bike tracks of varying ability rating, an amazing new swimming pool complex (to open in 2021), the high class designed Tivoli movie theatre Karapiro golf club, Karapiro lake which hosts Mardi Cup and many other rowing and water sports events throughout the year, the Velodrome - home of Waikato and New Zealand cycling, boasts host to national and international events and have a go sessions for beginners, horse racing track and events, a range of kids playgrounds and parks gives you plenty of options when organising a day out with the kids or as a couple. The town is an ideal base to day trip to many other tourist attractions around the Waikato and the Coromandel. A 1 hour drive to beautiful Rotorua with all if its adventure activities and 1.2 hours to Taupa. For boaties, swimmers and surfers the I hour drive to the east takes you to the beaches, walks, cafes and sightseeing at Mount Maunganui, Waihi and Tauranga, or head west to the black beaches of eccentric Raglan. 10 Minutes from Hamilton Airport and only 20 minutes drive to Hamilton city, Hamilton Gardens and Zoo and a huge range of activities, museums and galleries and shopping. With a 2-2.5 hours to Auckland's boundary, Rainbows End and the airport the choices are endless from this location. Our home has 3-4 bedrooms, three lounges, open plan kitchen/dining/living, family bathroom, ensuite off the master bed, double garage, plus off street parking, Spa bath, outside decking and paving on either side of the house to sit and enjoy or avoid the all day sun. There are plenty of toys, games, kids pool table, outdoor activities and books to keep you entertained when home. Unlimited broadband and Sky TV is available in 2 lounge rooms and the master bedroom. Playstation 4 with lots of games is available in the third (Kids) Lounge.
