We have a new passive solar home built for our retirement. There are 2 generous sized bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 2 toilets. There is a generous open plan living area with a large surrounding deck from where you look out to the Tararua Ranges - a beautiful sight when they are covered in snow in the winter. We have a spa on the deck which we love to soak in at night and enjoy the night sky. As it is new we haven't finished landscaping but making progress all the time. We have created an elevated retreat on the fringe of the CBD.
