Our home is a contemporary 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom property in Brooklyn, Wellington. It's laid out over three floors, a master bedroom with ensuite on the top floor, living and kitchen space in the middle and three great sized rooms and bathroom on the ground floor. We have a small sheltered grass area with BBQ and picnic table that has a superb view of the valley. Perfect for reading the papers or an afternoon drink in the sun.
We have modern furnishings and an array of children's toys. There is also a small playground 2 houses down the way.
Brooklyn has a great village with a fantastic bistro, cafes, deli, an iconic movie theatre and some great green space and school playgrounds within walking distance.
If you fancy some retail therapy during your stay the infamous Cuba Street is a 5 minute drive down the hill - home to a range of independent retailers, local designers and some old school favourites as well as an array of great eateries.
If the coast is more to your taste, you can experience some of Wellingtons finest surf and swimming beaches (Owhiro, Island and Lyall Bay) within a 5-15 minute drive.
And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, there are also some great mountain biking and running/walking tracks in the area.
