House

Our modern and warm home was built in 2018 and has 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with bunks), one bathroom (with bath and shower) and a large open plan living / dining space. A large deck leads to a terraced garden. It is compact, comfortable and we love it. Our 'treehouse' - our loft space above the entrance - offers an additional space with a very comfy double bed.

    • Description

    Wellington is a great place to visit - it's a buzzing and multicultural city. You'll love it here if you are into coffee, beer and good food but also if you are looking for places to walk, surf, mountain bike or enjoy a movie in one of our local cinemas. We live near the airport, marine reserves and bush walks are right outside our front door. Lots of space for kids to run around on the fields opposite and up and down our valley. The next door bays have also great playgrounds, local shopping and more opportunities for indoor and outdoor sports. The trip to the city is only 20 minutes on the bus or 10 minutes in the car.

    We are a family of four (our two kids attend the local primary school) and we live on the South Coast of Wellington, just a 10 mins stroll down the hill to the beach. We are keen adventurers and explorers, we go surfing, skiing, and tramping when we can, and love learning about our country, our cultures and indigenous animals. We are originally from Europe but call NZ our home. We work in graphic design and the not-for-profit sector and you’ll see our creativity and values reflected in the way we live. We love our home, and would like to share the joy of living here with others. In return we’d love to explore your patch.

    Our newest family addition is our black Spoodle Rocket and we’d love to be able to take her with us on adventures and are happy to host your pet at our home.
