We are a self employed couple working within the Dairy industry. We have 2 children aged 9 and 11. We reside just South of Hamilton City on a 1 hectare lifestyle block in picturesque Tamahere. Our business can be all consuming at times so we love nothing more than to get away for a change of scenery. The whole family enjoys a swim, a bite to eat at a local cafe and a walk around the sights on offer. We are interested to see all parts of NZ and have no real favourite.

We reside just South of Hamilton City on a 1 hectare lifestyle block in picturesque Tamahere. We love our area because we are so central to many major towns, beaches and tourist attractions - most no more than an hours drive away. Our house was built new for us in 2013 over looking a gully area. It is roomy and boasts a fabulous outdoor living area with large swimming pool and spa pool as well as several covered areas to shelter from the sun if required. There are 3 bedrooms with a bathroom down one wing of the home with the master bedroom and ensuite all the way at the other end of the home. In the middle of these rooms is the kitchen, another guest toilet and the two living rooms that both open out to a massive concreted patio and garden area that leads on to the pool area. Attached via an internal access door is a fully separate self contained 2 bed apartment that is not part of the house swap. Just a 5 min drive to the nearest shopping centre that offers a supermarket, bar and restaurant, takeaways, and post shop too plus we have the Hamilton Airport within minutes of home. We are negotiable on our vehicle being included in the swap as well.
We are very central to many major towns and attractions. Just down the road is the Mystery Creek Events centre and nearby in Hamilton is the Claudelands Events Centre whom both boast many large festivals, expos, field days, concerts and sporting events. Hobbiton Village, Karapiro Lake, Waihi gold mines, Rotorua tourist Mecca, Raglan surf town, historical Cambridge, the Avantidrome cycle centre and the city of Hamilton are all at our doorstep or within an hours drive. The Waikato River and a public boat ramp is just 2 Km away and happens to be just across the road from one of two nearby golf courses. There are also many walkways and cycle paths to entertain the whole family at no cost.
