What a great idea! I was about to spend a fortune on a hotel for my partner and I to go to Wellington for a wedding, but found a fantastic house swap opportunity on the site. Easy peasy. No problems...

About us

Member ID: 4150

Mark and I are in our fifties, working hard to make sure our daughters have what they need and enjoy life. We're both in people centred work: Mark's an analyst for a charity, I'm a high school teacher at a small private school. We met teaching overseas and lived in Turkey and Zimbabwe before settling here. We have two daughters: eleven and sixteen. One is in Year 7 at a full primary school and the other is in her final year of high school. Our daughters play netball and keep guinea pigs. Mark is a Brit with no family apart from us here; my parents are immigrants and they and my brother and his family, live in the area.

Pets to care for at this property

There may be pets to care for on this property.

We have a lovely man who often looks after our guinea pigs but if someone wanted to look after them that would be fine. We have six guinea pigs: three pairs.
They get fed morning and evening and cleaned out every second day. We let them roam during the day when we are home. The arks on the lawn need moving to fresh grass daily.
