We are a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 7 & 4. We also have a cat and 2 hens providing fresh eggs daily.
Some locations we are interested in visiting
We live in Island Bay on the South coast of Wellington with 180 degree views of the Cook Strait and Kaikoura ranges to the South which makes for stunning sunsets, especially in summer. Walking distance to the beach, Shoreland Park, the local cinema and shops or ya slightly longer walk to Red Rocks and the seal colony nearby. And we're only 10 minutes drive from the city if you want to head in.
Island Bay beach is nearby for swimming or kayaking around TaputeRanga Island. It looks out on to the Marine Reserve which is popular for diving. There is a park nearby with a children's playground, a cinema and shops nearby. The city is only about 10km away so restaurants, shops, Te Papa, etc are all accessible by bus or car.
