Hello Let me introduce Eric, my husband and my self Glenys. I have been a nurse for over 40 years and my husband has been a builder for longer. We are both still working but making sure we have the balance to life with holidays here in NZ and abroad. We have travelled extensively across the south island and are always drawn back down south virtually every year. We love the Americas and have made wonderful friends from our travels. We believe that we are great ambassadors for NZ and great hosts. We love quite and nature and beaches. We are both keen fishing people having fished in Canada, Alaska, Hawaii and San Franscisco, catching different species in each place. We live on a small block of land just out of Auckland but have a lovely holiday house at one of NZ top surf beaches, ( Whangamata) with swimming, tramping, fishing and all water sports at your door step. For exchanges in NZ we would consider a car swap if Nth to Sth. We love and value family time spent together but more difficult as our adult children also globe trot around.

Our beach house is our second home. We have upstairs and down stairs. Both levels can be separated and fully self contained with bathrooms kitchen on both. Only one laundry facility is down stairs. If it was for a couple then down stairs may be suitable. Our rebuild over the past 10 years has been our passion.
Our section is fully fenced out back, Safe for children and a full size section hidden behind the double story house with outside hot gas shower BBQ area for you to enjoy. If upstairs we have a wrap around deck safely fenced.
Our garage is not available but could be negotiated.
Small Kayaks and bikes may be available.
We are 5 minutes genuine walk to the beach, estuary and local dairy all with in 400 metres. Lots of outdoor adventures just a few minutes drive away. Bush walks, waterfalls and of course two golf courses in town.( we do not have time to partake in this pastime) . Fishing trips from the harbour. The town hosts many different events across the year.
